A meeting will be held in the PML House Islamabad and Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain will preside over it while provincial chapters chiefs of the PML Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Chief Minister Sindh Arbab Ghulam Rahim, Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Yousaf and state minister for water and power and NWFP chief of the party Engineer Amir Mukam, party council members, district office-bearers and workers will attend it, said a press release issued here on Wednesday.
With the celebrations, the PML would also begin its centenary celebrations, which will be celebrated throughout the year 2006.
It may be remembered that the PML came into existence on December 30, 1906 and it will complete its centenary on December 30, 2006.
To make centenary celebrations a success, President Pakistan Muslim League and former prime minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has formed a committee, headed by Dr Muhammad Amjad. The members are Chaudhry Muhammad Shafiq, Chaudhry Jehangir, Arshad Khan, Suhail Malik, Shahzad Latif, Rizwan Sadiq, Javaidi Fatima, Dr Hasan Saroosh, Nisar Shah, Mushtaq Ali Khan and many others.
The roads of the federal capital are being decorated with coloured bunting and flags and diplomats would also be invited for the historic event.
